Once your customers pay, Paydios holds the collected funds in your merchant balance and then settles them to your bank account on a predictable schedule. This page explains how the payout process works, which fees are deducted before settlement, and how to configure your payout destination and schedule.

How payouts work

  1. Customer completes a payment — funds are captured and appear in your Paydios merchant balance.
  2. Funds are held in your merchant balance — Paydios aggregates payments collected during the settlement period.
  3. Applicable fees are netted — Paydios deducts processing and settlement fees from the gross balance before payout (see Payout fees below).
  4. Net balance is transferred to your bank account — per your configured payout schedule.

Payout schedule

Startup and Professional plan merchants receive next-day payouts (T+1) as standard — funds collected today are transferred to your bank account the next business day. Enterprise plan merchants can negotiate a custom settlement schedule, including instant payouts or bespoke rolling windows tailored to your volume and risk profile.
Standard processing time is T+1 (next business day). Payouts initiated on a Friday settle on Monday. Public holidays in your bank’s jurisdiction may add one additional business day.

Payout fees

The following fees are deducted from your gross balance before each payout. They apply across all plans in addition to the plan’s processing fee. For example, on a 1,000grosspayout:1,000 gross payout: 20.00 settlement, 20.00 fraud & risk, 10.00 GST, and 15.00revenueprotectionarededucted,leavinga∗∗15.00 revenue protection are deducted, leaving a **935.00 net payout** before the plan’s transaction processing fee.

Add a bank account

1

Open Payout Settings

Log in to merchant.paydios.io and navigate to Settings → Payouts.
2

Click Add Bank Account

Select Add Bank Account and choose your account type — domestic (routing + account number) or international (IBAN + BIC/SWIFT).
3

Enter your account details

Provide the required bank account information:
  • Account holder name — must match the name on the bank account
  • Routing number (US) or IBAN (international)
  • Account number or BIC/SWIFT code
  • Bank country and currency
4

Verify via micro-deposit

Paydios sends two small micro-deposits (each under $1.00) to your account within 1–2 business days. Return to Settings → Payouts and enter the exact amounts to verify ownership.
5

Set as default payout destination

Once verified, click Set as Default to make this account your primary settlement destination. You can add multiple accounts and switch between them at any time.

Track payouts

Open the Payouts tab in the dashboard to see a full history of every transfer. Each payout entry shows:
  • Status — scheduled, in_transit, or paid
  • Gross amount — total collected before fees
  • Net amount — the amount actually transferred to your bank
  • Settlement date — the date funds were sent
  • Linked transactions — drill down to see every individual payment included in the payout
Use the date-range filter and CSV export to produce payout reports for your accounting records.
For high-volume needs, Enterprise plans include custom settlement terms, negotiated payout fees, and a dedicated support engineer to manage your account. Reach out at support@paydios.io to discuss Enterprise pricing.
